On 12 September 2026, Céline Dion stood on a concert stage for the first time in six years, at the Plénitude Arena in Paris. It was the opening of the series “Céline Dion Paris 2026-2027”. She had been away for six years because of stiff person syndrome. With a strapless black Dior gown she wore a Boucheron necklace that has been making headlines ever since.
The Address: a necklace with a history
The necklace is called The Address and comes from the high jewellery collection Histoire de Style Nom: Boucheron Prénom: Frédéric, which Boucheron presented in January 2026. At its centre sits a 10.01-carat emerald-cut diamond. The design goes back to a drawing in the house archive from 1839: seen from above, it is modelled on the Place Vendôme, with a frame of black lacquer and a white gold ribbon set with baguette-cut diamonds. The central stone can be removed and worn as a ring. The piece reportedly took 1,107 hours to make.

A perfume, a tribute
What the necklace means to her personally is something else. In a video backstage, Céline Dion said: “It’s kind of incredible because my husband always wore Boucheron perfume. It’s something that makes me feel like René is still here.” René Angélil, to whom she was married for 21 years, died in 2016, ten years ago.

Tattoo necklace and leopard ring
Céline Dion also wore Boucheron in the videos shot for the concert. The Tattoo necklace comes from the Human Being Carte Blanche collection of summer 2026: white gold, a 1.74-carat triodia-cut diamond (D, VVS1), 580 carats of smoky quartz and pavé diamonds. It recalls Victorian body art, and the smoky quartz drops are engraved from behind with motifs of the house: rose, poppy, snake, butterfly and cicada. She also wore the Fuzzy Le Chat ring with its leopard motif.

And what does it cost?
Boucheron does not name a price. French media put the value of the necklace at around 700,000 euros.
