Is the Pandora jewellery on VaultBase genuine?

You buy with buyer protection: the seller is only paid once you have received the piece. For delivery within Switzerland you can add VaultBase’s authenticity check to many listings.

How do I recognise genuine Pandora jewellery?

Genuine pieces carry the hallmark «ALE» together with the metal fineness, for example «S925 ALE» on silver or «G585 ALE» on gold. Also compare the shape, details and article number with the photo in the Pandora database. For delivery within Switzerland, the VaultBase authenticity check gives you certainty.

How do I sell Pandora jewellery on VaultBase?

Find your piece in the Pandora database and choose “I’m selling this piece”. Its name and article number are filled in, and you add photos, condition and price.

What is the Pandora database?

An independent reference for Pandora jewellery: thousands of charms, bracelets, rings and pendants with photo, article number, collection, year of release, material and original retail price per country. It is free and can be searched without an account.

Where do I find the article number of my Pandora piece?

On the tag, the packaging or the receipt, for example 791120C01. The first six digits identify the model, the suffix the version. In the Pandora database you can find every piece by its number.

How do I find a piece without an article number?

Search by name, motif or collection, for example «moon» or «Disney», and narrow the results with the filters for collection, year, material or theme. The photos help you compare.

Why does a piece have two article numbers?

Older pieces from the US carry a five-digit number, for example 79298H; Pandora itself writes the same number with six digits, 790298H. The database knows both spellings, so you find the piece with either one.

Where do the original prices come from?

From Pandora's own prices for each country, as early as they can be traced. What you see is usually the launch price; Pandora has changed many prices since.

What does «Looking for it» mean?

The heart on a piece adds it to your wishlist. The «Looking for it» figure shows how many members are looking for the same piece, which also tells sellers where there is demand.

A detail is missing or wrong. What can I do?

Propose a change on the piece's page. If a piece is missing altogether, you can propose it as a new one; a photo or the article number is enough. Every proposal is reviewed before it is applied.

What are Pandora inspirations?

Photos of bracelets from the community with every piece from the database tagged, along with its original price and current offers. With an account you can upload your own bracelet.

Is VaultBase an official Pandora retailer?

No. VaultBase is an independent marketplace for second-hand jewellery and is not affiliated with Pandora A/S.
