The new Love Notes Charm takes inspiration from love letters and messages secretly passed from an admirer. Each silver page of the notebook is engraved with a message. Flick through the pages to discover the note ‘I love u’. On the front of the notebook is the title ’Love Notes’ with a tiny red enamel heart and clear cubic zirconia stones adorn the bale. Although this charm won’t be making it to my wish list I do think it is a cute idea. I especially like the spiral rings which hold the pages together!

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
