The loveable sweethearts Mickey and Minnie Mouse hold hands above a glittering red love heart. Behind them a larger enamel heart provides a romantic backdrop. Turn the charm over to see ‘Love’ engraved on the back. Despite having gone a little Disney crazy recently I am not very keen on this charm. The details on the figures isn’t as attractive as other Mickey and Minnie charms such as the adorable PANDORA Disney Mickey & Minnie Vintage Car charm.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
