This dog tag style pendant is decorated with butterfly and flower doodles and clear cubic zirconia stones. The message ’Your have the POWER to write your own story’ is engraved in the centre with a cut out female symbol on one side. Another detail is the heart shaped hole which attaches the pendant to the bale. Other hidden hearts appear on reverse of the pendant surrounding each cubic zirconia setting. Again I noticed the PANDORA hallmark on the back of the pendant includes the crown over the ’O’. I’m not very keen on this pendant and it reminds me of the Spice Girls and Girl Power. However, on a positive note, the name did remind me of one of my favourite jokes from the Lion King. "What’s a motto?" "Nothing. What’s a motto with you?"

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
