The chic Pandora Signature I-D Bangle is also available in 14k Gold-plated metal. I was really intrigued to see that this piece was not described as being ’Pandora Shine’ and that it is 14k Gold-plated instead of 18k Gold-Plated like the Shine jewellery. A few Pandora fans have mentioned they find Pandora Shine to be too bright so it is interesting to see that Pandora has made this change. It also makes me wonder if there is any truth to the rumour that Pandora Shine will be discontinued and whether Pandora will replace it with jewellery in 14k Gold-plated instead. Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
