Continuing the friendship theme is the new Pandora Rose Dinosaur & Butterfly charm. The smooth disc features a cut out dinosaur with a tiny orange enamel butterfly bursting out from the design. Following the curve of the pendant is the message ’♥︎ Our friendship will never go extinct’. A slender bale set with clear cubic zirconia stones adds a little sparkle to the charm. I love the concept of this charm as it highlights that friendship can exist in unlikely places. Plus it is sometimes the differences that make a friendship beautiful.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

Gold-plated pieces on Pandora’s metal blend (Pandora Shine) usually carry “ALE MET” instead of “S925”. Pandora Rose pieces can carry other marks, such as “ALE R”.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
