One of my favourite pieces from the Pandora Winter 2021 Collection is the striking Galaxy Blue & Star Murano. Inspired by the night sky, glitter dust shimmers in the deep blue hand finished Murano glass. Asymmetric cut-out silver stars of different sizes frame either side of the glass making this a truly special piece.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
