The charm is made up of two discs which hang from a chunky silver bale with a single sparkling clear cubic zirconia stone. An adorable harvest scene is depicted on the facing disc of this beautiful dangle charm. A tiny bird and cheeky field mouse peep from behind grain of wheat with dashes of red and purple stones. Hopefully the farmer won’t see them! The smooth silver disc at the back is engraved with the sweet message ’Always by your side’. Once again the back of the disc has been left plain allowing space for a personal engraving. I absolutely love the detailed design of this charm but I’m not sure about the dangle aspect. I think perhaps a button style charm would have been a nicer shape.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
