In a similar style to the 2014 Pandora Club charm, the new Our Promise charm opens up to reveal a sparkling ring and the word ’yes!’. The main difference is that the new charm is a heart shaped box and the stone is set into a tiny ring rather than directly into the charm. The Pandora logo decorates one side of the box and the word love adorns the other side. I am sure this will be a hugely popular charm but I wish it was a little diamond rather than a cubic zirconia stone.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
