Dressed in a traditional Chinese changshan jacket, Disney's Mickey Mouse is ready for Chinese New Year. To keep his look fresh, Mickey Mouse wears red sneakers and his jacket features golden-colored button details. For an extra dose of good luck in the New Year, the bail of the dangle charm is shaped like a Chinese fortune coin and hand-finished with cubic zirconia. Style this sterling silver Mickey Mouse charm with the coordinating Minnie Mouse charm.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
