Fans who have been concerned lately about a lack of Murano charms will be happy to learn that there are a few new ones in the Pandora Spring 2020 Collection. The Wavy Pink Murano Charm features dimpled glass in a gorgeous shade of pink which reminds me of rhubarb and custard sweets. Flecks of pale pink glitter glisten inside the charm.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
