Have a little fun this holiday season with the mischievous Gingerbread Man Dangle. The brown enamel gingerbread man is decorated with colourful red, pink and green enamel icing and he holds a red and white striped candy cane. Cute bow and button details, as well as silver icing on his wrists, legs and head, bring the little gingerbread man to life. Bright red and emerald green stones are set into star shapes on the chunky bail and the back of the charm is engraved with the message "Life is Sweet".

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
