One of my favourite charms from the Mother’s Day 2022 collection is the two tone Baby Pacifier Dangle. This cute charm features a 14k rose gold-plated mouthpiece decorated with a pavé heart motif. The sterling silver pacifier shield is accented with a single stone and is engraved with the sweet message, "Made with love". Additional hearts feature on the silver bail and the top of the mouthpiece. Altogether a meaningful addition to a proud mama’s bracelet.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
