Raise your hand if you love two tone Pandora charms! ??‍♀️ I am ecstatic that Pandora are producing more two tone charms and the new Baby Shoe Dangle is a gorgeous example. The little shoe hangs at an angle from a simple silver bale. On one side is a heart shaped decoration engraved with the Pandora logo. Dark oxidisation highlights the edge of the sole and pretty stitching. Brilliant 14k gold laces are tied into a cute bow completing the eye catching design. In the picture above you can see the 14k gold hallmark ’G585’ stamped at the top of the laces. Although this charm is called ’Baby Shoe Dangle’ it isn’t particualy childish. Created in the style of the iconic Converse Chuck Taylor shoe it could also be used as an adult trainer/sneaker charm.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
