Inspired by the largest freshwater lake in the world, the Lake Baikal Dangle Charm captures the essence of this natural wonder in a single blue droplet. Hand-finished with a shimmering blue enamel coating, one side of the Lake Baikal charm is engraved with the message "Pure Depth" while the bail features the lake’s name "Baikal". Wear it as a symbolic reminder of the soothing power of water or as a souvenir from the Lake Baikal, the Jewel of Russia. UPDATE: I have not seen this charm released in any country as part of the Spring collection. Perhaps it will be part of the Mother’s Day collection.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
