Explore the Pandora Ocean and dive into the deep blue sea with the Murano Glass Cute Octopus Dangle! Our new underwater friend hangs from a sparkling bail set with man-made crystals in three shades of blue. A large green and blue Murano glass forms the body of the octopus with a wavy openwork pattern on the back. His eight tentacles curl up beneath him decorated with a pretty beaded texture representing the suckers. Set above the front two tentacles, two glittering blue crystals act as the octopus’s eyes.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
