One of our favourite Pandora Ocean charms, the gorgeous Murano Glass Sea Turtle Dangle (798939C01), is now available in pretty pink colour. A mixture of pink and purple man-made crystals are set into the bail and frosted Murano glass acts as the turtle’s shell. Shimmering flecks of glitter within the glass sparkle in light making this a truly beautiful piece. As with the original version of this charm, the belly of the sea turtle features a silver cut out scale-like pattern with a hidden heart on one side.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
