The magical story ’Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ has its title engraved in a striking gothic font. The infamous apple decorates the bale with glossy green and bright red enamel details. Open the book to reveal a ‘Once upon a time…’ engraving and a dangerous red apple! This is a fun addition to the PANDORA Disney Snow White charms and I am sure it will be very popular. I would have preferred more detail on the outside of the book though, such as an interesting texture on the cover and lines depicting pages on the sides.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
