The aptly named Bright Eyed Turtle charm features two sparkling cubic zirconia stones for eyes and an hexagonal pattern on its shell. PANDORA have previously produced two other turtle charms, the retired Turtle Charm (790158) and Sea Turtle Charm (791538CZ). Although I have the retired Turtle charm I prefer the friendly expression on this new charm so he might end up on my wish list. Plus he has such cute little toes!

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
