Although I am not normally fond of family themed charms, I love the sentiment behind the new Pandora Sisters charm. Pink cubic zirconia stars adorn both the bale and the charm but my favourite part is the message. Comparing sisters to stars the charm is engraved with, ’Sisters’, ’You don’t always see them’ and ’they’re always there’. Pandora Mum / Mom Script Charm (797778)$35 USD / £25 / €29 / $39 AUD / $40 CAD This fun charm celebrate the wow factor that mums hold. Depending on which way you wear it, it reads either ’MUM’ or ’WOW.’ The vowel is replaced by an open heart. Although this charm isn’t my personal style I do think it is an interesting design.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
