Interestingly the Pandora Summer 2019 Collection includes a new Suitcase charm. This was a bit of a surprise to me as the recent Spring Collection featured the Pandora Suitcase Pendant (797887EN160) and Adventure Bag (797859CZ) charms. However this is a more traditional style suitcase, decorated in a pale pink enamel with ’Love Travels’ written on one side and a silver heart on the other. My favourite detail is the little luggage tag engraved with the Pandora crown.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
