I am predicting Pandora Disney fans will go complete mad for the wonderful Cheshire Cat Charm! Unfortunately this fantastic charm is exclusive to Disneyland Paris so will prove a little difficult to purchase. The Cheshire cats face grins on one side of the openwork charm while his tail curls around the opposite side. Pink, purple and yellow enamel decorates the smiling feline. Nestled between vine leaves is the name of the Disneyland Paris attraction ’Alice’s Curious Labyrinth’.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
