Disney fans who prefer villains to heroes will love the new Maleficent Mistress of Evil charm. One side of this button charm features a sparkly purple enamel and a portrait of Maleficent the evil fairy in Disney’s film Sleeping Beauty. An incarnation of pure evil she is a shapeshifter into numerous forms. The back of the charm depicts Maleficent in her dragon form against glittering green enamel. A cut out pattern of scales decorates the side of the charm. As a Pandora Disney Parks charm, the Maleficent Mistress of Evil Charm will only be available within Disney theme Parks or online at ShopDisney.com. Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
