We were first introduced to Lightsabers in the original Star Wars film: "Your Father’s Lightsaber, this the weapon of a Jedi Knight." by Obi-Wan Kenobi and since 1977 they have become part of mainstream culture. Again, the scale has been played around with here so that the Lightsabers are not too spindly and thin, the ends of them seem to be lopped off. But, we definitely see the symbology and this will be a fan favourite. BUY FROM PANDORA UK ESTORE

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
