The My Pet Cat Dangle has a matching design to the dog version. At the front hangs the cat’s head complete with ears and whiskers. Swinging behind is the cat’s body and tail. The inside is decorated with a pearly enamel surrounding the message ’My best friend’ on the enamel surface. Two little paw prints decorate the bale for a final detail! Again, as with the My Pet Dog Dangle, I really like the idea of this charm and think it could be easily personalised by adding an image of the owners pet to the reverse of the front dangle.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
