Capture the essence of the sea with this little underwater friend! Three shades of blue enamel are hand painted onto his scales while bright cubic zirconia stones are set into his eyes. Textured lines on the tail and fins provide interesting details to this movable charm. Delicate beading is dotted along both the spine and the charms bale.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
