Set sail for an adventure at sea with the new SailBoat Dangle! Similar to the retired Sail Away (791138CZ) charm, this design features a traditional style sail boat with the wind in the sails. Crashing waves lap up the bottom of the boat, gleaming against the oxidised finish. Inside the boat you can see a tiny wheel at the mast while a lifebuoy and anchor sit on either side of the boat. Sailor’s rope decorates the bail which is also engraved with the romantic message ’Sail Away With Me’ on one side. Although I own the old version I actually prefer this new design as it has more details and a 3D look.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
