The new Murano Glass Red Apple Dangle is similar to the previously released Disney x Pandora Snow White’s Apple (791572EN73) and Snow White’s Apple & Heart (797486CZRMX) charms. However instead of glossy red enamel this charm features beautiful red Murano glass in the shape of an apple. My favourite details are the heart-shaped stem and etched leaf. Sparkling clear cubic zirconia stones are set into the slim oval bale. Even though this isn’t a Disney x Pandora piece I am tempted to get it for a Snow White bounding outfit I am planning!

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
