The new Kitten & Yarn Ball is one of my favourite charms from the Pandora Autumn 2021 Collection. Rolling on his back the little kitten plays with a ball of wool. Engraved details and grooved lines imitate fur patches there are embossed toes on his paws. Oxidised lines highlight the kitten’s sweet face and his tail curls around his back. A small tag engraved with the word ‘ME❤W’ hangs from the ball of wool. As a crazy cat lady this charm is definitely going on my wish list!

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
