Celebrate the 55th Anniversary of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Walt Disney World with this swashbuckling new charm! The double dangle charm features an interesting bail with a rope pattern on each side and two hanging elements. In the foreground a scary looking pirate skull set upon two crossing cutlasses decorative sits within a decorative frame. Swinging behind, a silver disc depicts The Black Pearl at sea with her sails flying covered in a shimmering transparent blue enamel. The back of the charm is engraved with "Pirates of the Caribbean" logo and a raised knot of rope.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
