This cute Colour-changing Chameleon Dangle is a wonderful symbol of adaptability and change. A sweet reminder to live life in its full spectrum of colours! Two elements hang from a chunky silver bail; a curled up chameleon and a silver disc which is engraved with the inspirational message "You are magic". The chameleon character is hand-painted with a special thermochromic enamel that changes colour in response to temperature changes. Colours change from light teal to deep blue on the body and dark purple to pink on its stripes. Although this is not a Disney x Pandora charm, it really reminds me of Rapunzel’s friend Pascal and would be pe perfect on a Tangled bracelet theme.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
