Spread your wings and fly with the new colourful Jungle Paradise Parrot Dangle. A lovable parrot, hand-painted in rich blue, green and yellow enamel, hangs from a chunky silver bail. My favourite detail is the etched feather texture which can be seen through the translucent green enamel. Pandora have previously produced other parrot designs such as the Tropical Parrot Dangle (791903ENMX) which I already have in my collection. In fact it was one of my first reviews from the early days of this blog!

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
