This is possibly one of the most interesting charms Pandora have produced so far this year. It is completely different to previous heart shaped charms and features a window which opens and display a glittering blue enamel sky. A silver moon shines and the stars spell ’mom’. The fitting message, ’Thanks for looking out for me.’ is engraved on the back. This charm is a cute concept illustrating how our parents are always watching out for us and most have spend sleepless nights looking out the window, waiting for our safe return.

Fakes are often well made. These checks help, but they do not replace an examination by a professional.

Hallmark

The stamp a genuine piece carries is shown above, next to the material. Good fakes copy the stamp, so also check its position and size.

Shape and details

Compare the piece with the photo above: outline, enamel colours, position and number of stones, lettering.

Magnet

Silver and gold are not magnetic. If the piece sticks to a magnet, it is not genuine.

Price

An offer far below the original price is a warning sign.

Packaging

A genuine box or receipt proves nothing about the piece inside it.

On VaultBase, the seller is paid only once you have received the piece.
